Ubin is one of few places in Singapore that is untouched by urbanization, well almost. Did you guys see Chek Jawa at Ubin?

The government wanted to reclaim some land there that will almost certainly damage the eco-system. After petitions and wide media reports, the reclaimation was put off.

The treetop walk (http://www.nparks.gov.sg/news/ttw.pdf) is another place we wanted to visit has so far it is still on the plans! :-)

Did not have much time as finished our guided tour at 2.30 pm and were suppose to report back at 4 pm. Also it was raining heavily for a while so started cyclying at ard 2.50 and had a tough time going through the mud region as chains came off many times and rainfall continuing.Just managed to go through a small part of island around Beberek Hut and Lang Hut. May be next time......
U can be our guide :-))

We have planned to visit Chek Jawa (and the board walk) for a long time now. Only concern is my youngest son, who might not take it very well to the long trek :-)

Will let you know if we finalised anything.
