Benefits of CWG

In spite of all drama and action pre event....(all thanks to the organizing committee) CWG 2010 in Delhi has helped brought other sports to limelight in India. It is rare to see Media (in all forms) covering games other than cricket in the first sports page... but surprisingly thats been the case for majority of Oct 3-14 papers of leading dailies at least in Chennai :). I am sure lot more sports enthusiast will be there post this event in sports other than cricket...especially boxing , archery, table tennis, badminton... along with Hockey and Tennis. Kudos to the sports spirit shown by the players in all events and the getting reward for their hard work :).
