Mornings to Office

mornings to office
is always in hush
no matter how well i plan
alwsys end up running for the bus

distance is long and traffic is high
i try to utilize my idle time
girls are nice but i am tied
i wonder if a female will ever go out of a males mind

i try to read. i try to surf
watch movies and listen to my fav band.
some say why waste time travelling this long
but how do i convince them it has pros as well along with cons.
time to reflect. time to be on own ...married fellow would understand better than those alone

sitting in front seat gives respite
else I end up cramping my legs behind
height comes in handy at times
but in a bus van it is another blockage for the seat u chose to sit

striking a conversation with a fellow mate is hard
everyone seems to already have a pal
girls as usual chit chat a lot
while boys are busy talking on phone to their gals
majority are single and there is healthy mix of M:F
keeps the bus lively then being pale

writing this down on one of the mornings
capturing the musings of the bus  journey

Plunge !

feeling emptiness inside
but cant make out what
its like something is missing in life
even though you have a beautiful wife

pondering pondering more pondering
feels like only thinking and not acting
but then act on what
you have plenty of choice
mind seems to be in a confused state
trying to get concurrence from a fellow mate

feel lost missing a purpose in life
something should fit it to make it full
but trying to find the missing piece is an uphill task
and even after knowing there is doubt if one will take the plunge

living on the edge gives maximum thrill
but we have tendency to make it silky smooth
Being Alive is what we seek I guess
but most are dead in the job they hate.....

trapped by own fear of financial insecurity
that binds majority in same place for years
only those who are willing to take a risk
will shine through or learn by experience

money drives our profession these days
there is no escape to this maze
i wonder how the world would be
where one has the freedom to choose a profession
not by monetary returns but what gives him the kick !!

maybe once one chases the kick
money would flow in
but it is hard to wait and
hence most stick to the place they are in .....
