Quite interesting book to read. The book is especially written with respect to developed economies like Western Europe and US ( as proclaimed by author himself) but many things talked of are quite relevant in general. It touches both on the managerial aspect and on personal aspect of living with paradoxes. I found the book a little confusing at times and hard to continue reading in one stretch. It talks about the various paradox which the people would have to live with. Throughout the book a good comparison is made between the US, German and Japanese management. A little insight on why is this so as well. Learned few new terms like Subsidiarity ( reverse delegation from lower rank to higher) , Sigmoid Curve ( know more). The author does a good job of looking how the organizations function as today and what ought to change in the future. The thoughts are quite insightful but confusing at times. A neat summary of the book can be found here.
