Another great book by Khaled Hosseini. The story of the lives of 2 woman Mariam and Laila and their friendship. The story moves from a period of 1970s to 2001 tracing the complete life of the 2 woman in war torn Afganistan and the plight which they have go through specially for Mariam. Again the story moved me. The author's ability to go into the emotions and mind of woman and elaborate it out in such detail without himself being a woman is commendable.
