First Hindi Movie in Singapore at Bedok...

Today watched RANG DE BASANTI on BEDOK cinema. Quite far off from home. All desi janta of Singapore had come up, including my fellow NUS classmates. Around 20-25 of us were there. The movie was quite good. Different concept altogeather. for more details visit site: http://www.rangdebasanti.net/.

27th Jan 2006-Chinese New Year Party

Venue: GUILD HOUSE, NUS

Had chinese new year party in the evening starting from 8 pm.All events were organized by the students and I must say that they did a very good job. The video of Chinese artists performing was awesome. Many good performances by the students also. The dress code of the evening was RED colour. Those who were not in the dress code were tied with Red ribbon as visible in the Autees right hand.

RED colour has great significance in chinese culture.It symbolizes celebration and luck.

An orange was handed to all towards the end of the event. Its considered to bring good luck on eating.
