Maybe the best idlis in Chennai but it is pathetic compared to the stuff you receive else where.Let me see what my problem with murugan idli shop: the idli is too spongy, the chutney is runny and the sambhar too watery for my tastes.i prefer eating in Karnataka/Andhra dabhas more than Saravana Bhavan or Murugan Idlis
Hmm maybe as per the taste needs of individuals it may not be favorite of all. Though I found it to be the nest so far...the points mentioned by you is what I like esp. the spongy idli :).
